Norman North’s Tabitha Fults – Mom of the Month spotlight – Presented by Guarantee Abstract Co.

Norman North mother of four, Tabitha Fults, has served on the girls’ volleyball and soccer teams booster clubs.

“I’m kind of like the hype man I’d say,” Fults said. “I’m very involved, so all the kids know me and talk to me outside of the sports they play. I just try to send positive vibes to all of them. I just like being involved and sprucing it up to make it extra fun for the kids.”

Fults has two daughters who currently attend Norman North High School. Heavenn is a junior on the volleyball team, where she’s a server and defensive specialist on one of the best teams in the state. The past three seasons, the Lady Timberwolves have finished with a 74-26 record and qualified for the state tournament all three seasons.

“We have such a good team,” Fults said. “We have won regionals the past three years. It’s a great program with a great group of kids. One of the top teams in the state.”

Fult’s youngest daughter, Narissa, is a freshman starter on the Lady Timberwolves soccer squad. This season, the Norman North soccer team is undefeated at 8-0 with Narissa leading the team with nine goals and five assists. With the 2020 soccer season canceled, the Lady Timberwolves are the reigning champions of Class 6A after winning it all in 2019.

“I love watching all my children play whatever sport they love,” Fults said. “Just being able to see them get to play this year and actually smile is great because I get to see their love and passion for the sport again.”

Fult’s oldest son, Rashawn, graduated from Norman North and is currently in the Air Force with a second kid on the way this summer. When Fult’s isn’t busy helping with her daughters with their high school athletics, she’s coaching her youngest son, Emmanuel’s soccer team with her husband.
