Yukon High School senior Kaden Morey is a two-sport athlete and the “talk of the tailgate” at Yukon. At 6-foot-5, 225-pounds, Morey is a big wide receiver/tight end for the Millers on the football field. He’s also a power forward and center on the basketball team. Morey said being part of the Miller family is exactly where he wants to be.
“My teammates are great people and I have never met a group of guys that were consistently fun to be around. I enjoy every practice and game with them,” Morey said. “Yukon is a great place to be. The school and facilities are amazing, and the teachers are very supportive of every student.”
On the football field, Morey has impressed recruiters at the next level and has received some interest from area colleges as well as a few out-of-state schools.
“After high school, I plan to continue to play football, but I am undecided as to where I am going. I am very excited to continue playing on a higher level,” said Morey.
Morey said he has many great memories on the gridiron for the Millers, so narrowing it down to his favorite was difficult. One thing that always stands out is the atmosphere at Yukon High School.
“It is hard to narrow it down to one specific moment, so I would say any home game, because the atmosphere is great and it is an amazing place to play.”
