Bethel Wildcats Girl’s Basketball Team Preview – Presented By Banc First

GIRLS

Head Coach: Tara Satterfield

20-21 Record: 7-11

With four returning starters, including their top three scorers, the Bethel Lady Wildcats are hoping to make a run to the state tournament. Bethel is led by Parker Stevenson (5-7, Jr.) Parker is explosive on offense and can score from anywhere on the floor,” says Bethel head coach Tara Satterfield. Stevenson averaged 18.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.8 steals, and 2.6 assists as sophomore and was also named conference offensive player of the year. As a junior, and a prolific scorer, Stevenson’s recruitment is likely to pick up if she continues her stellar play. Another key player returning for Bethel is Hannah Davidson (5-9, Jr.). Satterfield says she is a great leader that does all the little things well. Davidson averaged 7.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 steals, and 2.4 assists per game last year.

The other leading scorer returning for Bethel is post player Annie Compton (6-1, Jr.) who averaged 7.3 points and 6.3 rebounds last season. Bethel will have a young squad this year with Kassidy Depuy (6-1, Sr.) listed as the only senior on the roster. Satterfield says Depuy goes above and beyond for her teammates and the school. Other players expected to play key roles for Bethel this year are Adyson Adamek (5-11, Jr.), Bella Thomas (5-6, Jr.), Josie Megehee (5-9, Fr.), Brooklyn Duff (5-7, Soph.), and Baylee Tapley (5-8, Fr.).
