Christian Heritage Crusaders Boys Basketball Preview – Presented By Danielle Hill- Shelter Insurance.

In his first season at the helm of the Christian Heritage Academy basketball program, head coach Jontue Ezell believes he has the pieces to form an athletic team who can put together some great games offensively and play tough defense. “On the offensive side of the ball we have multiple guys at each phase that can do the things needed to make us a tough team to guard. I think our size at key positions will also be a bonus as the season goes as well. Our key will be how well we can play on defense. Bringing a new aggressive defensive style to this team will be the biggest adjustment the players will have to make but once the adjustment is made, I

do believe this could be a really exciting season for us,” said coach Ezell. One player to keep an eye on is Trevin Ezell, an electric guard that consistently leads in many
categories. Last season Ezell played for Cushing and led the team in scoring with multiple 20-plus point games. He is tough to guard in the open court. Luke Thomas brings energy and effort to the floor for CHA. Thomas has the “whatever it takes” attitude and it shows through his play. Hayden Henry (6-4) can score in the paint or from the perimeter. He has range and is difficult to guard if he steps out. Look for Henry to take advantage of his size against smaller guards. Tate Campbell (So.) could be on the verge of a breakout season. Campbell can score in many ways and is an exceptional ball-handler. Look for this sophomore to make his presence felt this season.
