VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Sasha: Not everything comes easy and you need to work hard if you want to win or get what you want in life.
VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?
Sasha: I’m passionate about basketball because it teaches you things inside and outside of sports and teaches you how to work with other people.
VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?
Sasha: I really got into basketball in like 6th grade in PE. We would play it a lot and my PE teacher at the time was also the assistant basketball coach so she told me to give the team a shot and see how I liked it that is when I actually started practicing and stuff was the summer before 7th grade.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Sasha: My favorite teacher all time would probably be my sophomore year Biology teacher Coach Smith. He is a really nice guy to be around and has an enjoyable way of teaching so it was easy to remember everything we learned in that class.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Sasha: Winning games so that our school goes up in rankings so then we are more known to people and other teams.
VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?
Sasha: My favorite memory of playing would be when we made it to the state tournament last season.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Sasha: Working together to win games and supporting each other if one of us has a bad game.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Sasha: I would pick Hawaii and I would take my best friend and my family.
VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.
Sasha: I would like to give a shoutout to my parents and say thank you for always being there for me and supporting my decisions.
