Bryce Graham is a standout senior at Christian Heritage Academy, whose passion for football and wrestling has driven him to achieve remarkable success on and off the field. As a middle linebacker and tight end, Graham’s stats speak volumes about his dedication and talent, with 118 solo tackles and a total of 294 tackles, averaging an impressive 8.6 tackles per game. His 20.5 sacks and 6 interceptions showcase his versatility and impact on defense, making him an invaluable asset to his team.
“I am motivated by my coaches and teammates to work hard and play my best,” Graham said, highlighting the importance of teamwork and camaraderie in his athletic journey.
Graham’s biggest role model is his dad, who has been a driving force behind his achievements. “My dad has always pushed me to work hard and leave it all out on the field,” he said. “He was an all-state linebacker in high school, so I really look up to him. He has always been there to help me and has given me some great opportunities that I really appreciate.”
Among the teachers who have had a significant impact on Graham’s life is Mr. Copeland, his chemistry and physics teacher. “Mr. Copeland helped me develop a love for science and engineering and inspired me to become an engineer someday,” he said.
Graham attributes his success on the field to the hard work he puts in the weight room during the off-season and the close relationships he builds with his teammates and coaches. “The hard work I put in the weight room in the off-season is a huge reason I am successful on the field in the fall,” Graham said. “Developing close relationships with my teammates and coaches also helps me succeed on the field.”
In practice, Graham challenges himself by working against offensive linemen Stonewall Brown and his little brother, Chase Graham. “They are both very physical players, and we make each other better in practice,” he said.
Beyond sports, Graham is actively involved in Mu Alpha Theta and is the founder of his school’s robotics club. He also takes pride in engaging in community service activities with the National Honor Society and his football teammates.
