Easton Collier – Carl Albert High School (Guerrero Electrical)

Football is a sport requiring mental and physical strength. Easton Collier, a senior at Carl Albert High School puts in the effort and has reaped the rewards.
Playing on the 2022 Class 5A Championship team is Easton’s best memory of football up to this point.
“We put so much hard work into that season,” he says. Only a follow-up championship for his senior year will top that memory.
Dedication to football taught Easton to work hard in everything he does. He is representing his school. To Easton this means, “being able to set an example, and having people look up to you.”
Easton enjoys the family-like relationship he has with his team. Inspiration comes from teammates like Reed Dequasie, who was a great leader and a very hard worker. He has huge respect for Coach Madden.
“He taught me everything I know about the offensive line and is very encouraging and inspiring,” said Easton.
Football is Easton’s chance to prove himself physically but the mental aspect of the game cannot be overlooked. The best advice he was given is that, “everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth.” He looks up to Michael Jordan because Easton says his mentality is unmatched.
In the classroom Easton’s favorite teacher is Coach J. because he teaches the right way. Easton is most inspired by his father, saying, “he wants the best for me and my brother.”
If he could pick any vacation location it would be Hawaii, with all of his linemen. Feeding a whole team of linemen could be a challenge but Easton says he is happy with any kind of breakfast food.
Easton is also involved in STUCO and track where he throws shot put.
