Christian Heritage’s Hannah Joy Nuthman – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Danielle Hill – Shelter Insurance Agency

Hannah Joy Nuthman knows the value of the comeback.  She is a Junior at Christian Heritage Academy and she is a Volleyball and a Tennis player but she had to have ACL surgery and that always brings concern.  No concern necessary for Hannah!  She came back to be a part of the win for the 4A girls team championship!

Volleyball has taught this winner how to have a good work ethic and the benefit of working as a team, establishing a healthy camaraderie and building each other up with encouragement.

She saw first hand from her English teacher Miss Bower, how just making things enjoyable helps get through the hard stuff.  Hannah has also been influenced by her brother Nate.  His example to live a gospel centered life and reflect Christ in everything has left a positive, lasting impression that Hannah is truly grateful for.  Natalie French has also been this type of Christ focused encouragement for Hannah and it’s been a game changer.

Hannah loves representing CHA because of their tremendous mission and she loves this quote from Ralph Bullard “Athletics is a platform for the gospel.  It is a tool for demonstrating what Christ can do in the lives of people.”  And Hannah pursues loving Jesus and serving others.

Hannah is also involved in Student council and CHBC youth group and she is grateful to all her coaches for pushing the team as a whole and training athletes to build good relationships and be great humans.
