VYPE: How are you feeling about the end of your senior season?
Jaiden Cooper: It was a fun season but a tough way to go out.
VYPE: Talk about the progress your team made throughout the year.
JC: We progressed really well, and that all started with us believing in ourselves and that we can beat any team we face against.
VYPE: It feels like you guys really came a long way from your first game to the playoffs.
JC: Yes sir, no team wants to start 0-3, especially a team as talented as us. Once those wins started rolling in, we gained some confidence in our play.
VYPE: Talk about your role in that success.
JC: Just giving my all during practice and just letting players know that the season isn’t over, and that it was just getting started.
VYPE: What do you think are your best skills on the field?
JC: My pass coverage and my voice. Communication is a very big part of our defense.
VYPE: What’s next for you? Are you planning to play at the next level?
JC: Yes, that is the plan, is to play football next year at the next level.
VYPE: How old were you when you started playing?
JC: 6-7 years old.
VYPE: What pulled you towards the game of football?
JC: I just grew up watching and knew I wanted to play football once I started watching it.
VYPE: Do you play any other sports?
JC: Track.
VYPE: What do you run?
JC: 4×4, the 100, 200 and I’m thinking about doing long jump.
VYPE: Would you call yourself a pretty natural athlete?
JC: Yeah, I would say so.
VYPE: What are some of the things you really had to work at to see success on the field?
JC: My attitude, how I approached practice and getting bigger in the weight room.
