VYPE: Tyler, how long have you competed in track and field?

Means: This is my second year competing this season.

VYPE: What events are you competing in?

Means: I will be doing the 4×800, 1-mile, and the 2-mile.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other sports at Del City High School?

Means: I ran cross country in the fall.

VYPE: Tell me about this Del City track team. Who is the clown, who is the toughest, and who is the most serious?

Means: Ke’Lin and I are the toughest. I would say us as a team, we all keep each other laughing, the whole team is serious when we know we need to be.

VYPE: What makes being a student-athlete at DCHS great?

Means: What I enjoy most about being a student-athlete is the level of leadership I have on and the track.

VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life?

Means: Someone who has been a big influence in my life would be my mom.

VYPE: Who is your favorite sports figure?

Means: My favorite sports figure is Kobe Bryant, because of the motivation he has given me through the toughest times. That I can overcome the most difficult battles I will come across in life.

VYPE: What do you want to do after you graduate?

Means: After I graduate, I am going to the U.S. Navy to pursue my career as a Fighter Pilot.  

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Means: In my free time I like to play basketball, hang out with friends, and spend time with my mom.
