VYPE: What do you love most about being a student athlete at MWC HS?
Rideau: The coaching staff. How they care about us not only as players but as individuals. They push us to be better. We are family here at MWC.
VYPE: What grade are you in and how long have you played baseball?
Rideau: I’m a freshman in high school I’ve played baseball since I was four.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?
Rideau: We are family here. When you’re having a bad day, they are here for you. They always encourage you to be the best that you can be.
VYPE: Do you belong to any clubs or groups at school?
Rideau: Bombers baseball group.
VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and do you have a favorite teacher?
Rideau: I love history definitely my favorite subject. My favorite teacher is Mr. Klaus he’s the history teacher.
VYPE: What part of your game have you worked to improve and what position do you play? Rideau: I’m currently playing catcher but can play any position needed. Currently I’ve been putting in a lot of work on blocking, framing, and throw downs as a catcher.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
Rideau: Go to college and play baseball at OU.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Rideau: Travel baseball, spend time with my family and friends.
VYPE: How is the team looking for this season? Rideau: We look good, but we have a lot of work to do. Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect.
