Braxton Meier – Tecumseh High School

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Braxton: I am a senior at Tecumseh High School. I play football and baseball.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Braxton: Conner Murray has had the biggest impact on me without a doubt. He has shown me it doesn’t take a big drawing monster to be a good football player. It takes a God-fearing man. And someone that is going to help someone up no matter what. Conner has been a light for me and a good leader through these years of my high school football career.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?

Braxton: My favorite part of being an athlete is the size of the mission field I walk into everyday. It’s a challenge for me and there is nothing an athlete loves more than a challenge.

VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?

Braxton: My moment I’m most proud of is becoming a leader in my youth group. It truly is a blessing.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Braxton: Tim Tebow is probably the number one guy I look to for a professional athlete. Tebow sets the example of what it means to be a Christian athlete and there is nothing greater than that.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Braxton: My biggest inspiration is God. Most people cringe as they read that or hear that anywhere, but this is me. God inspires me everyday from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

8.My favorite teacher was definitely Mrs. Neal, one of the harder classes I’ve taken but definitely my favorite. Mrs.Neal does what every great teacher does, gives you guidance, instruction and a safe space.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Braxton: My all time favorite meal is a simple pesto chicken my mom makes.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities?

Braxton: I am involved in my youth group at Tecumseh First Baptist.
