Softball

Landry Garza – Mustang

Landry is a special kid that does a little bit of everything for her team. She is a starting pitcher, hits at the top of the lineup, and plays the infield when she isn’t pitching. Landry is a great kid who works really hard on her craft and looks to have a big season.

Underclassmen to Watch

Football

Brayson Carter – Blanchard

Explosive athlete with top-level speed and tremendous hands. Great with the ball in his possession. An excellent cover guy on defense and can close on the ball.

Beu James – Bridge Creek

Beu will be a sophomore and is in the mix to start at quarterback. He has speed and quickness and a really strong arm. He can put the ball on the money. 

Lane Whitworth – Piedmont

Lane started eight games last season as a freshman. He improved each week and will be a leader on the defensive side of the football.

Brady Macadoo – Tuttle

Contributed in all phases of the game as a freshman on last season’s state runner-up team. He played running back, wide receiver, linebacker, punter, and kick returner. He will be a key player this season as well.

Reese Poage – Mustang

Reese is a kid that possesses high-level athleticism and skill, especially for a freshman. She is a versatile athlete that can play a number of positions, and her coaches are excited to see what she will bring to the team.

Emerson Pegram – Mustang

Emerson Pegram is an outstanding athlete and leader. Since her freshman year, she has not been afraid to step in and take on whatever role asked of her. Emerson brings energy to the team, and her energy is infectious.
