In regards to who she considers her biggest influence and role model, Kasia looks toward faith and family. Kasia proclaimed, “My biggest role model and influence would be Jesus Christ because he has done so much for me, and I know that he has written my entire life; I just go out and live it! Jesus loves me no matter how many points I score, and no matter what, he will always be there. I try every day to live my life through him in everything I do! I would also say another influence and role model is my amazing family. They are my biggest supporter, and push me to be the best that I can be. No matter what, I know I have them in my corner. I can go on and on about how great they are, but they have been with me in my lowest lows and through the best time of my life. I would not be able to do life without them. Each and every one of them brings such a bright light in my life in a unique and special way. I do not know how they do it! I love them so very much!”
In high school athletics, many memories are made. Kasia recalled the favorite moment of her high school sports career thus far. Kasia stated, “The highlight moment of my career was definitely winning 2 state championships. That has always been something I have always wanted. But the feeling of just knowing that I have done it, not only once, but twice, is absolutely amazing. Being able to celebrate with my teammates and the feeling of accomplishment is just absolutely amazing. That feeling is unimaginable.”
When asked what it has taken Kasia to become successful in sports, Kasia did not hesitate to answer. “Lots and lots of hard work- on and off the court. It involves working out in the weight room, getting shots up after and before practice, and in open gyms. Also, it takes having a strong connection with your teammates and enjoying spending most of your time with the, and celebrating our accomplishments together, and coming together when things do not go our way.”
