Midwest City High School’s Caleb Stephens – Presented by Benjamin Osenga-Allstate

Caleb Stephens is proud to be part of the Midwest City High School basketball team. He says they are back and better than ever this year. This sophomore is passionate about his team. The atmosphere and rich history of MCHS sports is something he wants to continue.

Basketball makes Caleb happy. He has played since he was five years old. Basketball has taught him to be consistent and build trust. His best memories have happened on the court. “Recently at the PCI Tournament my teammates applauded me because I stepped up in a big role,” he said.

“Put your head down and work,” is the best advice says Caleb. Focus and determination are what it takes to be successful in sports.

Caleb has several people in his life he looks up to for inspiration. The teammate who has impacted him most is senior Bryan Williams. His favorite teacher is coach Walters. “He helps us understand more in his class and he is cool,” Caleb said.

Luguentz Dort with the Oklahoma City Thunder is the athlete Caleb most admires. He looks up to the way Dort plays and respects him for not caring what people think about him. Dort puts it all out on the court.

For a summer vacation Caleb would go to the Bahamas with his teammates. He says they would just have an amazing trip together because they are funny, and everyone has such a good time together.

When not shooting hoops, Caleb can be found enjoying his favorite meal of all time, wings and fries.
