VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?
Allie: When I was younger, I swam in Kansas for two seasons and then we moved to Oklahoma. My freshman year, the high school coach booked my mom for family photos and the topic of swimming came up and he encouraged me to join the team.
VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?
Allie: I tried lots of sports when I was younger and never fell in love with any of them. I have always been naturally good at swimming and genuinely love the sport.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Allie: Nicole Herzog welcomed me when I joined the team late in the season. She supported me all the way through her senior year.
VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?
Allie: Josh Davis is who I look up to the most because he has accomplished many things in his personal swim career and continues to share his knowledge and love for the sport through coaching college and holding swim clinics around the United States.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Allie: My mom is the person that inspires me the most. She is a very hard working person. I look up to my mom because she is dedicated towards her family and work.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Allie: Mrs. Elliott is my favorite teacher because she was my first teacher when we moved to Oklahoma. She made me feel very welcome.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Allie: Being apart of Choctaw High means representing the G.O.L.D.standard. Gratitude, Ownership, Leadership, and Discipline.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Allie: Chick-Fil-A nuggets with a Dr. Pepper

Allie: I would love to give a shout-out to my coach Blake Shawn. He sacrifices a lot of time for practice and meets. He always encourages us to do our best.
