VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My goal for this year, I want people to know my name and remember it, I want to end my wrestling season off with a bang.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite memory, throughout the past couple of years, has to be the moments after we won state as a team last year.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
My teammate Kasen Miller has left the biggest impression on me, he is occasionally my practice partner and I’ve learned so much from him in wrestling and as a person.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part about being on this team is the people I’m surrounded with, we are together through the losses and the victories.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
My sport has taught me discipline, patience, and hard work.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
The best advice anyone has ever given me has to be my dad telling me if you want it bad enough and you’re willing to do whatever it takes to come out on top, no one can stop you from achieving something great.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
My dad inspires me the most. I’ve always looked up to him and I wish to follow in his footsteps.
VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.
Thank you, Coach Hodges, Coach Miller, Coach Evans, and Coach Wiley, as well as my dad and the rest of my family for believing in me. I wouldn’t be where I am right now without their teachings, words cannot express how grateful I am to have these people in my life. Thank you!!
