Del City basketball player Courtnie Mccarroll spoke to VYPE in a recent interview.

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?

My personal goal this year is to get me looks for college & get my first offer.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

My favorite memory is when we beat Carl Albert senior night last year.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Shelby Thornton, because she pushes me to be better everyday I step foot in the gym.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

My favorite part on being on the team is winning together as a unit.

VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?

None this year looking forward to national honor society next year.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

What this sport has taught me is communication is key & stay focused and locked in my time will come.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

They best advice someone has given me would be don’t give up, keep pushing until you get what you want.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Coach White, Coach CJ, my mom & my cousin Sidney because they push me to the max & pushes me to be better than what I think I am.
