VYPE: Charlie, what grade are you in this season and how long have you been playing golf?

Dowell: I am a junior and I have been playing golf around five years. 

VYPE: Are you involved in other activities at MHS?

Dowell: Outside of golf I am also involved with National Honor Society.

VYPE: What do you enjoy about being a student-athlete at Moore?

Dowell: I really like that I get to miss school to go play golf in the spring. 

VYPE: How is the team looking for the upcoming season?

Dowell: The team is looking pretty solid this year and we should have five guys that can lead the team to state this year. 

VYPE: What do you like most about playing with this group of guys?

Dowell: I love playing and practicing with my teammates and helping each other get better. 

VYPE: What area of your game have you worked on the most coming into the new season?

Dowell: I have really worked to improve my short game because it is very important in a round of golf. 

VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject or teacher in school?

Dowell: I do not have a favorite teacher, but my favorite subject is probably math. 

VYPE: After you graduate, what would you like to do?

Dowell: After I graduate, I would love to go to college and maybe even play some golf in college too.

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time and do you have a favorite course you like to play?

Dowell: I enjoy playing golf in my free time or hanging out with friends. I enjoy playing at Belmar Golf Club which is where I play golf the most and it’s really convenient for me.
