Congratulations Moore Lions boys basketball – state-bound – Presented by Raising Cane’s

The Moore Lions defeated Putnam City West 59-45 on Friday to advance to the 2023 6A boys basketball state tournament.

Moore will play Choctaw at 9 p.m Thursday at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman to open the single-elimination bracket.

“This year’s Lions won the Tahlequah Tournament, regional champions and area champions,” Moore head coach Gregg Hardin said. “Having won the last 10 out of 11 games, this team is nicknamed the ‘Road Warriors’ for going 13-1 on the road this season including playoffs, the Lions hoping to get three more road wins in Norman this weekend.”
