Getting to Know Moore Volleyball’s Jocelyn Thomas – Presented by RibCrib

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year and season?

Jocelyn: My personal goal for the season is to become a more dynamic player improving mentally, physically, and above all being a better person

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Jocelyn: The most fun I had this last year was going to nationals in Florida and playing amazing teams from all across the country.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Jocelyn: My favorite teacher was my seventh grade geography teacher, Mrs. Gandy. She was my favorite because she really cared about us as students and people and she always made her class enjoyable.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Jocelyn: My favorite athletic memory was making the All-Star team at nationals and not expecting it.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Jocelyn: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me would have to be Leah Campbell because she was one of the main reasons why I started playing volleyball in the first place.

VYPE: Who says the funniest things during games?

Jocelyn: Everybody on the team can say some funny things during games.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Jocelyn: If I could pick any place for a summer vacation, I would go somewhere in Europe and I would take my family with me.

VYPE: If we have you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?

Jocelyn: If I had $500 to spend in the next 24 hours, I would definitely spend it on clothes and shoes without a doubt

Jocelyn: I would like to first thank God for all the people He put in my life and thank you to all the teachers, teammates, and coaches who have gotten me to this point but most importantly my family, thank you for all your love and support.
