Hi, what are you looking for?

Keep an eye on Southmoore soccer player Javier Litton – Presented by Silverleaf Animal Hospital

VYPE: What do you love most about being in the soccer program and do you play any other sports?
LITTON: I love the soccer program here at Southmoore because they have made me a better person, teaching me life skills both on and off the field. I have learned to change a tire as well as play in a tight space. It is important to all the coaches that we leave the program prepared to succeed in all aspects of life.

VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
LITTON: I love that my teammates are like brothers. They are always there to pick me after a bad day. This team spends a lot of time off the field together too. It might be a few of us visiting to cheer up another teammate after an injury or the whole team getting together for a family night of bowling. This team is built to be family. We go through the highs and lows together just like brothers.

VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?
LITTON: I’ll be a senior this fall. I plan to play soccer in college while pursuing a career in physical therapy or pharmacy.

VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life?
LITTON: My dad, he always drives me to better at everything I do. He taught me someone can be smarter or faster or whatever, but no one should ever out work me.
