Moore baseball coach Caleb Teel believes the Lions can improve upon last year’s 14-21 record and “build a foundation for the future” this spring.
“Expect solid defense and pitching and aggressiveness and speed on the bases,” Teel says.
Dezmond Roach, a sophomore center fielder, is expected to hit at the top of the lineup.
“Dezmond is a great athlete with plus. speed on the bases and is an excellent defender,” Teel says.
“A lot of hard work and dedication goes into reaching the goals you have,” Roach says. “My love for the sport keeps me motivated. I love this sport more than anything. Although my teammates and family motivate me even more, I do what I do not just for myself, but for them too.”
