Head coach – Greg Bryant
2021: 7-3
The Moore Lions had a solid season a year ago. But they enter this new season ready to work hard and improve on what they did last year. Head coach Greg Bryant says that the experience they have coming back will be a big asset. “We finished 7-3 last season,” he said. “We have several returning starters on offense and defense. We will be an athletic and physical team that will be looking to build on the previous year’s success.” Denver Wolfe (5-10, 175, Sr.) is back at quarterback and will lead the offense for the third season as a starter. He has put in the work in the offseason and is ready to show the results of his work. At his disposal will be three talented wide receivers. Brayden Clark (5-10, 165, Sr.), CJ Simon (6-1, 175, So.), and JJ Gomez (6-3, 180, Sr.) will work hard to get open and put points on the board or at least put the Lions in scoring position. Last season, Clark had eighty-four receiving yards, 160 all-purpose yards, and a touchdown. Offensive lineman Jax Rumsey will take care of things up front (6-4, 300, Sr.). He and his fellow linemen will make sure that Wolfe is protected while he is in the pocket.
