VYPE: Anna, what grade are you in and how long have you played golf?
Fritts: I am a freshman and I have been playing golf since I was about 7 years old.
VYPE: How is the team looking coming?
Fritts: I think the team is looking good for this season. I am super excited to see where this team with go and I think that with the new players, we look much better.
VYPE: What do you think about your teammates this season?
Fritts: What I love most about my teammates is that they are so kind and uplifting. I created a great group of friends through golf in junior high and those friendships have carried on into high school. Also, I am very lucky to be on the same team as my big sister, so it has been so much fun getting to play together.
VYPE: What do you love about being a student-athlete at Moore HS?
Fritts: You get to create so many memories and friends through your sports. At Moore, there is such a great community of athletes who are like-minded in their goals.
VYPE: Are you involved with any clubs or groups at school?
Fritts: I am involved in many leadership organizations at Moore. I am class president for the class of 27’, as well as a Moore Love and Student Council senator.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject or teacher?
Fritts: My favorite subject in school is definitely English. Mrs. Harkey has been so kind and helpful throughout freshman year.
VYPE: What area of your game are you working to improve this season?
Fritts: I have worked to improve my short game the most. I have always been consistent with my irons and driver, but all your strokes are in chipping and putting.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time and do you have a favorite course to play?
Fritts: I enjoy reading books or hanging out with my mom and sister in my free time. I like to spend my free days going shopping with them or just relaxing. My favorite course to play is The Territory in Empire City. Though this is not one of the courses we play for school golf, this is my home course and I play it almost every weekend. It is challenging but it is very well taken care of.
VYPE: You have a few years, but what would you like to do after you graduate?
Fritts: I plan to go to college and work to get a major and degree in either broadcasting or digital marketing.
