Every golfer will have some ups and downs during a round. A missed bunker shot or a drive that just skirts to rough, whatever the challenge, golfers are wired to see the problem, determine the best course of action, and solve the problem with the next swing.
Moore High School junior Casen Bell is that type of player. Always having fun on the course, Bell has played golf for six years and will likely play for years to come.
Bell said he would like to play at the next level, but if that does not happen, he is still going to hit the course and continue to work on his game.
“After I graduate, I will either play golf or start working,” said Bell.
As for the team, Bell said the team is, “looking good,” and he expects them to compete at state. Bell pointed to guys like Preston Baker, Charlie Dowell, Jesse Dowell, Max Norman and Kase Stark, the Lions continue to build on what they started last season.
“What I like most about this team is our competitiveness,” said Bell.
The junior said he has spent more time working on his putting this year and it’s showing on the score card.
