Noble Bears Girls Basketball Preview – Presented By Landers Auto Group

Exciting things are happening with the Lady Bears basketball program under head coach Lindsey Vanderburg. “We are returning four starters this year who will all play a big role both offensively and defensively. Led by three seniors who have been starting their whole careers. Should have some speed led by Mackenzie Heeke who
had a big season last year and postseason. And Landry George who can shoot from anywhere on the floor,” said coach Vanderburg. Mackenzie Heeke (5-7, Sr.) averaged 16 points per game last year alongside Landry George (5-8, Sr.) who averaged 12 points of her own. The combo is tough to contain, but when you add Jacy Vinson (5

7, Sr.) to the mix, it makes that task nearly impossible to complete. Vinson averaged 10 points a game last season. Rayle Steely (5-5, So.) will play point guard giving the
Lady Bears a quick and tough player on both ends of the floor. Last season she averaged 8.0 points per contest. Hayden George (6-0, So.) will havem a major impact this season and will continue to develop her inside game. Other players to watch for Noble include Arecley Martinez (5-5, Jr.), Callie Abernathy (5-6, Fr.), and Landry Decker (6-0, Jr.). Assistant coaches are Tiffany Burns and Leland Palmer.
