VYPE: What motivates you?
Kash: My dad has taught me the game throughout my life and I want to make him proud.
VYPE: Who are some of your biggest influences or role models?
Kash: My dad is one of them. He was a good player back in his day and has been a huge part in my development as a player and a person. One of my biggest influences is Ed Reed and other great safeties. I like to watch their old films and watch how they played the game.
VYPE: What teacher has had the biggest impact on your life?
Kash: Mrs.Q my freshman English teacher. She has helped me throughout high school and through some hard times and has been a great teacher and friend.
VYPE: What has it taken to be successful in your sports?
Kash: I have dedicated countless hours to my craft and worked extremely hard. I’ve missed birthdays and parties to work on myself as a player.
VYPE: What has been the highlight moment of your career?
Kash: I think the highlight of my career is from my freshman year where I was able to earn my spot on varsity week one.
VYPE: Which teammate do you enjoy working against the most with in practice?
Kash: One of my favorite teammates to work against in drills is Boston Knowles because he’s a great athlete and capable of pushing me to my limits.
VYPE: Who is the least appreciated player on your team?
Kash: Tavion Engert because he’s a hard worker and never misses a workout. He also always brings a great attitude and never complains about working.
VYPE: What does it mean to you to represent your school and community when you play?
Kash: It means a lot to me. I get to represent a community and give the town something to be proud of and I get to represent the same school my dad did.
VYPE: Anything else you would like to share?
Kash: I have a very strong passion for the game and enjoy being a student of the game.
