VYPE: Caden, what grade are you in and how long have you played soccer?
Southmoore: I am a junior and I have played soccer since I was four, so 13 years.
VYPE: What position do you play and what have you improved on this season?
Anderson: I play center defensive mid, the thing I’ve worked on the most as a player is everything on the ball. mostly turning and my weak foot.
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Southmoore?
Anderson: The thing I love most about being a student-athlete at Southmoore is the support of my team that I feel from my teachers and friends it makes me feel special.
VYPE: Tell me what you love about this group of guys on the team this season.
Anderson: The thing I love most about my teammates is the brotherhood we have off of the field, every day I see them I’m laughing the whole time and I’m at my happiest, it really does feel like a family, and they’ve helped me become a better person.
VYPE: Do you play any other sports at SHS?
Anderson: I’m only in Southmoore soccer.
VYPE: What about the classroom, do you have a favorite subject or teacher?
Anderson: My favorite subject in school is English, I love writing. My favorite teacher is Mrs. Lehew.
VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?
Anderson: After I graduate, I would like to continue my soccer career at the college level and I would like to start a career in Real Estate.
VYPEL What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Anderson: I’m definitely an extrovert, in my free time I always like to be around people, specifically my church youth group and my family. I love to watch basketball and soccer, specifically Tottenham.
VYPE: How is the team looking this season?
Anderson: This is the best we’ve looked as a team since I’ve been here, I believe the sky is the limit and I’m confident we’ll be a very successful team this year. Looking forward to seeing how it goes!
