Canadian Valley Area Football “Super 7″– Editor’s & Fan’s Choice – Presented By BancFirst Yukon

EDITOR’S CHOICE

These are the top seven players in the Canadian Valley area hub, ranked by VYPE editors regardless of position.

#1 Jacobe Johnson – WR/DB – Junior – Mustang 

With offers from DI schools in both football and basketball, it’s easy to see why Johnson is the top player in the area. At 6-foot-4, Johnson is a nightmare to cover. 

#2 Lane Parks – OT/DT – Senior – Yukon 

Parks is a big reason the Millers will have some success running the ball this season. The future Saturday starter brings power and intelligence to the offensive line. 

#3 Andre Dollar – TE – Senior – Mustang

One of the top tight ends in the state for the last two seasons, Dollar is expected to have another great year. Look for Dollar at a stadium near you come the fall of 2022.  

#4 Mikey Devereaux – LB – Senior – El Reno 

One of the hardest hitting players in Oklahoma, Devereaux has exceptional at making plays from sideline-to-sideline. Expect the El Reno defense to follow his lead this season. 

#5 Carson Creach – LB – Senior – Yukon 

Creach brings intensity and athleticism to the defense for the Millers. The linebacker had incredible numbers last year and is expected to have a similar or better effort this year. 

#6 Brogan Hardy – LB – Sophomore – Piedmont 

A talented young player for Piedmont, Hardy has a bright future ahead. His ability to read an offense and react with quickness and precision makes him a force on defense. v

#7 Reece Trammell – OL – Senior – Mustang 

One of several outstanding offensive linement for Mustang, Trammell has all the tools and size to be a player at the next level. Look for Trammell to lead a great crop of linemen this year. 

FAN’S CHOICE

Based on fan voting in the Canadian Valley area hub, here are the top players at seven positions.

OFFENSE

Quarterback: Brayden Dutton – Yukon

Dutton will be a leader on the offense this season, looking to put up some solid numbers.

Wide Receiver/Tight End: Cole Riggs – Piedmont

A great kid and athlete, Riggs will be a big offensive target this season.

Running Back: Will Geiger – Piedmont

Geiger will be a solid back out of the backfield this year.

Offensive Lineman: Zane Cambio – Mustang

A kid that loves football, Cambio will be a key lineman this season.

DEFENSE

Linebacker: Carson Creach – Yukon

Creach has worked hard and will try to keep the opponents from breaking a big play this season.

Defensive Back: Luke Harris – Yukon

Harris has worked hard in the offseason to become a better 

defender.

Defensive Lineman: James Maguire – Piedmont

Maguire will do a lot of hard work in the trenches this season.
