Softball Players to Watch

Gracie St. Hilaire – Moore

Gracie is a hard worker. She never takes a play or a rep off and is always the team’s rock.

Shayne Roberts – Norman

Shayne has been a key component of her team for several years. She will be the heart and soul of this team, on both offense and defense.

Tylie Ligons – Norman North

Ligons is a four-year starter that the team looks to to get them going. She is a competitor, leader, and captain. Tylie and her teammates have set big goals this year and plan to reach them.

Savanna Edwards – Purcell

Savanna is sophomore and has been voted as the preseason MVP by her teammates. She has been putting in a lot of work in the off-season and it has shown in both school and travel softball.

Brinly Maples – Southmoore

She was undefeated in the circle last season and she pitched every pitch in the state tournament. She looks to have another solid season. 

Aynslee Linduff – Westmoore

Linduff is a great kid and is a major asset to her team. She looks to have another big season. 

Volleyball Players to Watch

Channing Apel – Community Christian

A force on the court, Apel is a key player for her team and she is looking to have a stellar season. 

Sara Freeman – Moore

Sara has started varsity since her freshman year, playing every position on the court. Sara is driven, intelligent, and has so much passion for the sport and those around her. 

Emma Coburn – Southmoore

Emma is a three year varsity starter at Southmoore at middle blocker. She will also be one of the team’s  captains this season. She is dedicated, hard working, and passionate about volleyball. 

Football Unsung Heroes

Maddox Woods – Little Axe

While he is not the biggest guy on the field, what Woods lacks in size he makes up for in skill. He played quarterback, wide receiver, cornerback, and safety last season. He was the team’s best tackler a year ago. He is expected to have a huge season. 

Julio Sandoval – Moore

Julio plays running back and linebacker for the Lions. He never misses a day and always brings his best. 

Arnold Porillo – Newcastle

Arnold is a three year starting offensive and defensive lineman. He is very competitive and is an anchor for both the offensive and defensive lines.

Nick Lowman – Noble

A young man who has worked extremely hard this past year to put himself in a position to be a big contributor on Friday nights. 

Walker Peck – Norman North

Walker is the workman of the team. A tough player that competes day in and day out. 

Lane Steele – Washington

A great team player, Steele does not care about personal accolades, and does whatever he can to help the team succeed. Very quiet and always stays in the background, but is a vital part to the team’s success.

Softball Unsung Heroes

Brea Lutz – Moore

Lutz is a great kid and a great teammate, looks to have a solid season.

Avery Bozeman – Norman

She has worked hard in the offseason and this could be a big season for her. 

Trinity Hanska – Norman North

Hanska is a great teammate on and off the field.

Kelly Anderson – Purcell

Anderson will help the team however needed and she does the things that do not show up in the stat sheet. 

Abi Jones – Southmoore

She may not be the star player on the team, but she is always there to help the team.

Kalie Amos – Westmoore

A hard worker, Amos is a great teammate that is always ready to compete. 

Volleyball Unsung Heroes

Sydney Burks – Community Christian

Whether she is on the court or on the bench, Burks is always supporting her teammates and helping however she can. 

Maddi Thompson – Moore

Thompson has worked hard to become the player she is. She should see an increased role this season.
