Southern Nazarene University has a variety master’s classes offered to those looking to further their education and professional careers. For Rufus Howard, the Master of Administration in Educational Leadership was such a course.
“There are many ways in which this degree will help me professionally. Increased access to job opportunities, a pathway to advancement, and increases my knowledge, credibility all serve as avenues to further myself in my career,” said Howard.
When searching for a graduate program, Howard said he knew SNU was the right choice for him thanks to shared values and beliefs.
“Their values and beliefs made Southern Nazarene University the right school for me. SNU truly believes in building strong connections, character, and pride,” said Howard.
Connector for a non-profit called, Smart Start of Central Oklahoma, Howard said there are many things about the Master of Administration in Educational Leadership program he enjoyed.
Currently working as a Community Connector for a non-profit called, Smart Start of Central Oklahoma, Howard said there are many things about the Master of Administration in Educational Leadership program he enjoyed.
“What I enjoyed most about the program was engaging with other educators, learning new material and the opportunity to share knowledge,” said Howard.
Howard was able to network and build a support group based on the relationships built while attending SNU.
Howard said he would recommend SNU to others looking to further their educational opportunities.
“I would absolutely recommend SNU. The flexibility with classes, only one night a week, the bonds you build with fellow classmates and professors ,the sense of belonging and SNU being family oriented, are all great reasons to make SNU your school of choice. I have recommended SNU to several people,” said Howard.
