VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports and activities are you involved in?
Ryan: I am a senior at Tuttle High School and I play football for the Tigers. I play ice hockey when football is not in season and I’m very involved in my church and volunteer there every Sunday.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Ryan: How to work with a team through obstacles and how to make myself disciplined.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Ryan: Beck Vargas graduated last year and he always made me keep my head up when I would make mistakes and motivated me when I needed it.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Ryan: Showing that Tuttle is a very hard working town and willing to do what it takes to succeed.
“ ”VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Ryan: My first grade teacher Mrs. Jones, because she taught me that no matter what happens in my life it will get better.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Ryan: “After every dark night, the sun comes back up” this was said by my coach after I had a bad practice and it motivated me to be better the next day.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Ryan: My parents. They are the most hard working people I know and push me to be my best self every day

Ryan: I want to give a shoutout to my teammates. We have a great bond this season. Better than I’ve ever experienced. We are very accountable to each other and push each other to be the best we can be.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Ryan: My all time favorite meal is probably a crawfish boil.
