Players to Watch

Baseball

Dacus Cooper – El Reno

Dacus puts in the time to make himself a better player and improve his game. Dacus has some juice in his bat with legit home run power, and also will hit for a high average. On defense Dacus will play corner infield, he has a solid glove with a strong accurate arm. He also has two collegiate offers.

Caleb Lunnon – Piedmont

Last year, he was 5-0 with one save. He threw 66 innings, appeared in 13 games, and started 12. He had 78 strike outs with 32 walks, 1.49 ERA, 1.227 WHIP, .202 BAA. He currently sits 86-88 MPH and tops 90 MPH. He will be our Monday starter this season. He is signed with Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. 

Ty Chad – Tuttle

Ty signed to play baseball at Eastern Oklahoma State College. He will be a major factor in the top of the lineup with his speed and the way he swings the bat. He is also a top base stealer. Very good center fielder with a lot of varsity experience.

Braydon Armstrong – Union City

Braydon is an athletic kid with a good baseball IQ. He also has good leadership qualities. 

Aiden Alexander – Yukon

Alexander returns as starting pitcher and center fielder. He hit at the top of the order and led off as a junior. Small of stature but can run and has a strong arm and a great glove.

Boys Soccer

Edgar Garcia – El Reno

Garcia is an outstanding soccer player and is a leader on the team. He works hard and it shows when he plays. 

Talon Cope – Piedmont

Talon is a three year varsity starter and has helped make school history in 2021, finishing second in the district. He plays as a fifth defender, playing up high and showing his technical ability on the ball with his feet. 

Girls Soccer

Macie Brannum – Piedmont

Macie is committed to play at Oklahoma Baptist University. She is a very competitive and intelligent player. Great leader with exceptional drive, on field quality, and character. Is the field general of our group. Three goals and three assists as a junior.

Underclassmen to Watch

Baseball

Davin Shamblin – El Reno

Shamblin is a talented player that works hard and continues to get better.

Noah Smith – Piedmont

A great kid on and off the field, Noah looks to be a contributor this season for the Wildcats.

Braylon Brooks – Tuttle

Braylon has put in a lot of work to become the player that he is today. With continued work, his impact will be greater. 

Tyler Norton – Union City

Tyler is expected to be a big time player for Union City. He puts in the extra work and effort needed to be his best. 

Trevin Pettigrew – Yukon

The Millers are excited for what Pettigrew brings to the table.

Kenneth Solis – El Reno

Kenneth is an outstanding soccer player who is always prepared for every matchup.

Ismael Reyes – Piedmont

An excellent player on the field, Ismael is an equally great person off of the field. 

Girls Soccer

Jordan Hahn – Piedmont

Hahn has a lot of potential and looks to have an increased roll for the team.

Brayden Fulton – El Reno

Fulton is a great kid that does whatever he can to help the team.

Logan Hill – Piedmont

Whether it is on the field or in the classroom, Logan excels at whatever he sets his mind to.

Gage Norvell – Tuttle

The Tigers’ Norvell works hard and always gives one hundred percent when the game is going as well as in practice. 

Dalton Stout – Union City

Stout goes out of his way to help his team however he can. 

Logan Troxell – Yukon

Logan loves the game of baseball and it shows when he is out on the field. 

Boys Soccer

Logan Singletary – El Reno

An asset to the team, Singletary works hard and always does his best.

Caden Pearson – Piedmont

Caden is a complete soccer player and he is a quiet leader.

Girls Soccer

Ali Kunnanz – Piedmont

She brings a great work ethic and attitude to the team.

Baseball

Colby Mann – Moore

Colby is an all around talent on the mound, in the box, and defensively. He is a very versatile utility player, produces strong outings with each start, and is ferociously competitive in the box. 

Ryan Huntley – Norman

Ryan plays shortstop and pitcher. As a junior, his number were .344 BA .488 OBP .929 Fielding

Danny Satterlee – Southmoore

Signed to Wichita State. Will be a three year letterman in baseball. A true dominant arm.

Jackson Black – Westmoore

Jackson is going into his junior year at Westmoore and will be both a large part of the team’s pitching rotation and lineup. After leading the team in hitting as a sophomore, look for big things from Jackson in 2022. 

Boys Soccer

Stevid Adams – Moore

Adams has developed into an elite center back and leader, he recently signed to play college soccer at Kansas Wesleyan University. 

Cade Porter – Newcastle

Cade is a four year starter and team captain and an excellent student. He has exceptional speed, toughness, soccer IQ and technical ability that has made him into one of the best defenders at the 4A level. 

Ethan Koepke – Southmoore

He works hard on and off the field and represents the Southmoore program well.  He plays for the top OEFC club team in Edmond and does very well for them as well. Has committed to play at Rogers State University.

Jaxon Lee – Westmoore

Jaxson is currently a captain who is dedicated to the team and is always one of the hardest working individuals out there.

Girls Soccer

Maci Schmidt – Community Christian

Maci is relentless on the field offering bone crunches tackles throughout the midfield which combines well with her incessant need to score and score often. She is technically very sound, and tactically sees the field and her role in it very well. 

Aniya Facen – Norman

Facen is one of the hardest workers on the team. She always gives it her all and is a great example for her teammates.

Aynslee Duffy – Southmoore

A senior forward, Duffy is a leading goal scorer from last year. All conference selection in 2021. Great speed, competitive, aggressive, versatile, hard worker. Will attend SWOSU next year to play soccer. 

Chloi Thurman – Westmoore

Chloi led the team in points and was an MVP her junior season. She scored 10 goals and had a record breaking 19 assists on the season. The expectation is for her to continue this production.

Jayshaun Sykes – Moore

While he may be a younger member of the team, Sykes is a hard worker and earns his playing time.

Dax Noles – Norman

Dax is an outstanding kid that is always ready to work.

Noah Phan – Southmoore

Always goes above and beyond to be the best he can be.

Gage Geiger – Westmoore

Gage is a hard worker. He is a solid teammate and always ready to help his team.

Boys Soccer

Hoyce Ayer – Moore 

Ayer is an outstanding and skilled soccer player that looks to have a big season.

Caleb Dupler – Newcastle

Whether it is on the soccer field or in the classroom, Dupler excels at whatever he does.

Austin Hurt – Southmoore

Hart is an excellent kid and has grown into a solid soccer player.

Girls Soccer

Reese Clements – Community Christian

Reece brings excitement to the team and works hard to play her best when called on.

Jane Lockhart – Norman

Lockhart is an excellent member of the Lady Tigers soccer team. 

Hannah Montoya – Southmoore

Hannah always gives it her all and leaves it all on the field.

Jaycie Daggs – Westmoore

A very coachable player, Daggs does a great job of constantly improving her game.

Brayden McMurtrey – Moore

Always willing to do whatever it takes to help the team, Bradyen is also a solid player.

Hunter Hayes – Norman

Hayes does a great job of doing things to help the team that may not show up on the stat sheet.

Carson Padgett – Southmoore

Carson has worked hard to get where he is and his work ethic is second to none.

Zane Chavez – Westmoore

Chavez loves the game of baseball and that is evident when he is on the diamond.

Boys Soccer

Jake Kielty – Moore 

A solid athlete, Jake has put in a lot of work to get where he is.

Cameron Unruh – Newcastle

Camerson has grown into a really good soccer player. He is ready to help the team in whatever way possible.

Paicer Zehr – Southmoore

A hard worker, Zehr knows what his role is on the team and he does a great job doing it.

Ishan Patel – Westmoore

Ishan is an outstanding teammate and does his best.

Bethany Jefferies – Community Christian

Bethany is one of those teammates that is always there for her team and will do anything to help. Great character kid.

Murphy Chesley – Norman On or off the field, Chesley works hard and always gives her best to whatever she is doing.

Elizabeth Silva – Southmoore

Silva has put in a lot of time and effort to get where she is today. And her continued work will get her further.

Jayden Dobbs – Westmoore

Jayden is an excellent kid with a solid work ethic. She is a great team player.

John Gordon – Bethel

John is a three-sport varsity athlete. He has the ability to play any position on the field. He’s got exceptional arm talent and speed. 

Nathan Eaton – McLoud

Nathan has been a starter for McLoud since his sophomore season. He has excelled in the classroom, band, bowling and on the baseball diamond. He will play multiple positions for McLoud on the field, and will be a key pitcher in McLoud’s rotation.

Jaxon Smith – Seminole 

Jaxon is a left handed pitcher who has signed to play at Oklahoma Baptist University. He also is an outstanding defensive first baseman.

Boys Soccer

Jacob Claxton – McLoud

All-around player and plays wherever he is needed. Hardest worker around and coachable. Very good student in school and all around great person.

Bryce Tapley – Bethel

Has a great work ethic and a solid future ahead of him on the diamond. 

Jaden King – McLoud

Jaden is a tough kid that works hard and is a team player.

Dontre Garfield – Seminole 

He is a great kid that will look to play a solid role this season.

Santos is an outstanding player and a great kid.

Sharp does a lot of things to help the team that do not show up in the stat book.

Cyrus is an outstanding kid that is always there for his teammates.

Jack Hodge – Bethany

Should start in center field and hit in the top of the lineup. He has signed with Northern Oklahoma College-Enid.

Ethan Rone – Choctaw

He is a returning three year starter at infield, catcher and pitcher. Rone has committed to Eastern Junior College.

Alex Morgan – Harrah

Alex was one of the team’s top pitchers last year. He was a Monday and Tuesday starter on the mound for district games. He has signed to play at Southwest Christian University.

Braden Browning – Luther

Braden is a four year starter. He’s been a captain for the past two seasons. Braden led his team to a regional tournament appearance last year for the first time since 2011. He batted leadoff and played shortstop when he wasn’t on the mound. Braden has one offer to Southwestern Christian University.

DeAngelo Irvin Jr – Midwest City

DeAngelo Irvin Jr is entering his junior year for the Bombers. He is an excellent player with high character. As a sophomore, he hit .422 (Batting Average), .539 OBP, 1.261 (OPS), .722 SLG. 

Boys Soccer

Dax Jaggers – Bethany

Team captain as sophomore and Junior. He is unselfish and his IQ allows him to be used wherever he is needed.

Tommy Yousey – Choctaw

Tommy is an athletic, tenacious junior forward who plays with an attitude. The tenacious attitude he brings to soccer he also brings to the classroom and to his relationships with peers and adults. 

Isaiah Wences – Christian Heritage

Isaiah is an outstanding athlete who is a tremendous teammate. The skill he brings to the field makes CHA a better team.

Matt Jolliff – Crossings Christian

Jolliff is an athletic player, strong defender, and a physical presence for our defense.

Eli Cervantes – Mount St. Mary

Eli has superior soccer IQ and understands all the positions and formations. He is like a coach on the field. 

Girls Soccer

Brae Baker – Bethany

A great attacking player with a team high 22 goals as a sophomore, she can play every position on the field, often drawing double teams in most games.

Annabelle Bean – Christian Heritage

Tough physical player that wins every ball in the air. Dominant scorer with 20 goals and 20 assists last season.

Camden Furnish – Crossings Christian

She is an outstanding teammate and scorer and also serves as team captain. Furnis is also an academic champion.

Ashlanne Fuentes – Mount St. Mary

Ashlanne is a terrific midfielder with a very high soccer IQ. She is a leader on and off the field.

Gavin Finley – Bethany

A great young man with a lot of potential for a solid future.

Drake Fittro – Choctaw

Drake has worked hard and is ready to have a bigger impact this season. 

Hunter Cantrell – Harrah

Cantrell is a tough guy and he loves the game of baseball.

AJ Henke – Luther

Whether it is at a game or in practice, Henke works hard and always gives it his all.

The Bombers are looking for bigger things from Williams this season.

Kylon is a great kid that works hard and will do anything for anyone, especially his teammates.
