Hi, what are you looking for?

Jones

9 Q’s with Jones’ Luke Debusk Presented by Blue and Gold Sausage

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Luke DebuskIt’s taught me that no matter the circumstance you just gotta keep fighting through adversity.

VYPE: What has been your favorite thing about being on a team?

LB: Just being able to connect, build a relationship with them, and celebrate after a big win.

VYPE: How has your sport impacted you in your life?

LB: I’ve grown up around the game of football my whole life and listening to stories about my grandpa and my dad. Just going and watching all the guys ahead of me on Friday nights and knowing what it would be like to play in such a great environment and town supporting you. Now that I know what it’s like, I want to be able to put on a show every Friday night for the kids that are in the same position that I was once in and be one of the greats to put on a Jones jersey.

VYPE: Who is a professional athlete you see as a role model?

LB: Bo Jackson, because he was a freak of nature and made it a long way in two sports.

VYPE: Who has been your most influential coach throughout your sports career?

LB: Coach Holbrook. Not only did she teach me academically, but she taught me how to be a leader in and out of the classroom.

VYPE: Who is your biggest supporter/role model?

LB: My dad because he’s the hardest working person I know.

VYPE: When did you begin your sports career?

LB: When I was in kindergarten, I came home from school one day and told my parents I wanted to start football and I’ve played every year since.

VYPE: What are you most excited about this upcoming athletic year?

LB: Just being able to put that sports jersey on and going out to battle. Whether it’s on the football field, baseball diamond, or basketball court, it just means a lot to be representing Jones across my chest.

VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shout out to anyone of your choosing!

LB: A big shout out to my parents for supporting me in everything that I do and always running me around to every practice and game. They always make sure that I am provided with the things that I need. I wouldn’t be where I’m at without them.
