Hi, what are you looking for?

Jones

Jones’ Isaiah Sawyer – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Blue & Gold Sausage Co.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Isaiah: I love being able to count on others to keep me accountable, and I love to be able to show people how well or how good I can be at something

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Isaiah: Football has taught me discipline and quick learning. All throughout high school I was moved from position to position so I had to learn quickly and be coachable.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Isaiah: My favorite part about being on the team would have to be the brotherhood that comes along with playing and the trust that you can put into others.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Isaiah: Sauce Gardener because I was starting corner last year I was really new to the position and didn’t know how I was supposed to play the position and being able to watch a nfl player and learn from him means a lot.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Isaiah: My parents inspire me because growing up I was put into adoption and they took me in and gave me everything I needed, taught me right from wrong, they are everything I could have asked for.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Isaiah: Isaac Foster. During freshman year we both tore out ACL’s,  he was a senior at the time and helped me through the pain process and kept telling me to stick with football even though I was out for freshman season.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Isaiah: Mrs . Logging  from third grade. Moving to Jones, I was new to everything and she was very kind and very accepting and taught very well .

VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?

Isaiah: Getting my first defensive touchdown against Bethany

VYPE: 4Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.

Isaiah: I would say thank you to my coaches, my parents, can’t forget my teammates Clayton Creasey and the offensive line and everyone on the team
